Western Ages

Age changes on your birthday, not at the beginning of the year.
For example: Birthday - June 1, 1980  -  Today - March 1, 2004

In this example, the person's age would be 23.  On March 1st, their age would change to 24.

Fill in the personal information chart with your information.

The real form is here http://travel.state.gov/DS-0156.pdf

Conversation

Practice the conversation with your partner.  Change the underlined words and use your information.

Pronunciation

Knowing how many syllables (음절) an English word has will help improve your pronunciation (발음).   Go here http://pronunciation.englishclub.com/word-stress1.htm for more practice.

Grammar

Can / Can't

Complete the exercise with can or can't.

What can you do?  What can't you do? What can't you do, but would like to be able to do?

Conversation Practice

Fill in the blanks on each line.

With a partner, take turns describing a job...your partner must guess what job you are describing.

Example:

Student A:  I work in the air.  I can fly.  I take people to other cities quickly.  What do I do?

Student B:  Are you a pilot?

Student A:  Yes~
